DENTALHUB CONNECTOR
Privacy policy
Effective August 15, 2026. This policy describes the current preview version of the Quina DentalHub Connector.
What the extension accesses
The extension runs only on app.dentalhub.com. It checks whether the employee is viewing a supported Remits page. When the employee starts a scan, it reads visible remit fields needed to prepare the preview.
These fields may include:
- Patient or claim reference numbers
- Payer and service information
- Billed, paid, and patient responsibility amounts
- Claim status, reason codes, and notes displayed in the remit table
How information is used
The information is used only to provide the extension's single purpose: preparing visible DentalHub remit information for an authorized employee's Quina review workflow.
Current storage and sharing
The preview version does not retain remit information after the browser process ends. It does not sell, share, or transfer remit information to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Information the extension does not collect
The extension does not collect DentalHub passwords, authentication tokens, browser history from other websites, keystrokes, precise location, personal communications, or advertising identifiers.
Security
The extension requests access only to the DentalHub application domain. It uses packaged code and does not load remote JavaScript. Production transfer will remain disabled until secure authentication, encrypted transmission, access controls, audit logging, required agreements, and accuracy testing are complete.
Limited use
Quina's use of data obtained through the extension is limited to providing or improving the extension's disclosed single purpose. Quina does not use the data for advertising, credit decisions, lending, or unrelated purposes.
Changes
This policy will be updated before the extension begins transmitting or retaining remit information. Users will receive a clear disclosure and consent request before any new collection or transfer begins.
